1.) a.) creativity is inventing something that is new or original that other people have not thought of yet.

c.)
1.) Sergey Brin is a creative person because he is known for creating Google, one of the most successful search engines in the world. Brin fits the creativity definition because he figured out a successful way to make his search engine bring up correct information when a topic is typed in.

2.) Bill Gates is a creative person because he created Microsoft which is the most successful computer software system known all over the world. This invention has allowed him to become one of the richest people in the world. Gates fits this definition because he sparked a new way of computer creation and totally changed the way computers work today.
STRAW PROJECT-Ben, Bobby and I, connected straws by sticking the ends into each other until they were tall enough to reach the ceiling then we would lightly twist two strands together and tie them down to the fondation and then we connected them with tape at the top and center for more stability.
-The tower was way too unstable, due to a weak foundation. Another problem was that the higher the tower got, the more wobbly it was because the straws were to weak. And the tower also wasn't taped in the most ideal areas.
-Although we were not able to overcome the problems within the time limit, we have thought more about the design since, and we now understand that the design may have worked with a stronger foundation, as well as more straws wound together for a thicker studier structure.
-One thing we could have used more of was the tape, with more tape we would have been able to make the tower studier at the top.
-We all felt as though the tower was unsuccessful due to the fact that it was extremely unstable. With a more symmetric design we feel that we would be able to create a tower that would be able to stand for hours, but unfortunately symmetry was a negative factor in our project.
PAPER BOOKS PROJECT
Today we had to make a structure out of paper that would hold the most amount of books possible. Ben and I had an octagonal structure that only held 8 books. I think this was the case because our tower was to high which made it unsturdy. Two things that I learned today were that a bigger foundation is much studier, and that the taller your structure is, the less sturdy it is. I plan on adding both of these ideas to my cardboard chair project by building the foundation out, rather than up.
Balloon Launcher Project.
1) Our final project was to make a balloon launcher so we decided to make a sling shot with 2 people holding the 2 wooden sticks and then another guy pull back on th e bungie cord to launch it and the launcher is a cardboard box and ducktape. 2) Ben Trevor Nathan Larry Timmer 3) a- we had one concept the whole time and it was the sling shot and that is what we ended up using.
b- our decision to use bungie cords was made becaus e we didnt wan2 spend any money on our project and we used the bungie cords that Mr Hunt brought into class.
c- everyone did a little bit of something because we really didnt need to do a lot for the project. all we did was cut 2 pieces of wood and then used ducktape to hold everything together.

5) Nope we kept the same design the whole time we were doing our project.
6) i think it will work really good because the launcher can change the angle and power of the balloon.
7) the most difficult part of the project was bringing the items we needeed into class.
8) I learned that it is way to early to think but eventually with some motivatoin we can get it to work and finish our project.
